The rotary body 51 consists of an iron core made of stratified silicon steel sheets of high magnetic permeability and an electroconductive section composed of copper sheets of high electric conductivity embedded in the radial grooves of the iron core and electroconductive rings which connect the upper and lower edges of the copper sheets to each other. When the rotary body 51 is turned by the torque of the windmill 1, fluctuating magnetic field intersects the iron core to cause an eddy current to flow in the electroconductive section to that Joule heat is generated in the rotary body.
