A scraper conveyor has a channel having a pair of parallel and longitudinally extending upstanding sides and a chain extending longitudinally along the channel between the sides thereof and normally advanced therein in a travel direction. A chain-arresting system has a crosspiece fixable to the chain and having outer ends juxtaposed with the channel sides and each of a predetermined length measured in the direction. Respective blocks fittable with the sides of the channel are each formed with an inwardly open inner groove into which the respective end of the crosspiece can engage. An abutment in the groove has a rear face directed backward against the direction and engageable with the respective crosspiece end and an inner hole spaced in the direction rearward of the abutment face by a distance greater than the crosspiece-end length. Respective pins engageable through the inner holes behind the respective crosspiece ends trap same in the respective blocks. |

The present invention relates to an automatic ironing device that has a novel structure that is capable of automatically and conveniently ironing laundry such as a seat or a patient gown. The automatic ironing device according to the present invention uses a main roller (20) whose circumferential surface is heated by a heater (21) and a press roller (40) that is provided in the circumferential surface of the main roller (20) so as to heat and press the laundry which is supplied by the supply conveyors (31, 32), and thus an ironing effect can be achieved. After an operator unfolds and puts the laundry on the supply conveyors (31, 32), the laundry is automatically ironed and discharged. Accordingly, the operation can be easier and more productive than in ironing presses of the related art, in which the operator has to unfold the laundry on a lower plate, perform ironing by lowering an upper plate, take out the laundry by lifting the upper plate, and unfold the laundry again on the lower plate. Also, the ironing presses of the related art may produce creases in the laundry when the laundry put on the lower plate is taken out by the operator. In contrast, the ironing device according to the present invention allows the laundry to be automatically discharged rearward through the circumferential surface of the main roller (20) and a discharge conveyor (80). Accordingly, creasing of the ironed laundry can be prevented. |

The first driving motor is connected to a rotary shaft formed at the center of the rotary plate and transfers power for rotating the rotary shaft. |
