A grain size of the above-mentioned extra-light- weight aggregates are in the range of 0.6-5mm, and an amount of the aggregates mixed in the above-mentioned concrete is usually 60-80wt.%. A water-cement ratio (W/C) is usually about 35-55%. The extra-light-weight concrete produced by said invention is of high hydration activity, and extra-fine powders of the silica fume mixed in the cement are rapidly dissolved into a solution containing calcium hydroxide separated by a hydration of the cement.
