CONSTITUTION: When a decayed tooth is treated with a filler of a noble metal such as Au or an Au alloy, an electrodeposited tin film is formed on the surface of the hardly oxidizable noble metal filler with an electrolytic soln. for electrodepositing tin, the formed tin film is oxidized and the filler is firmly adhered to dentin with an adhesive. The electrolytic soln. used is prepd. by mixing an aq. soln. contg. 60-70g stannous sulfate with an aq. soln. contg. 90-100g potassium citrate, adjusting the pH of the mixed soln. to 4-5 with KOH or citric acid, adding 0.3-0.5ml polyoxyalkylamine and further adding water so as to regulate the total volume to 1l. Tin is easily electrodeposited on the surface of the noble metal filler by using the electrolytic soln. and the filler can firmly be adhered to dentin with an adhesive by oxidizing the formed tin film.
